Before his family moved to San Luis Obispo, Dr. Patel spent his childhood in London, England.
He lived and attended school on the Central Coast until leaving for college to study biochemistry at UCLA.
Upon receiving his bachelors degree he attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, earning his doctorate degree in 1998.
Dr. Patel returned to the Central Coast and established his own practice after working in several dental offices.
He opened his first office in Grover Beach in 2002, but it wasn't long before his practice outgrew that space and moved to the Pismo Beach Medical Campus.
