Exemplary, professional but still friendly and relaxed.
I have been a client for over 20 years.
Dr. McArdle has always had my best interest at heart and when advising treatment, gives a full evaluation of why with x-rays, films and photos.
His care is remarkable.
Over the years, he has established a team of warm and thoughtful personnel.
I have never had a better experience with any dental office, and I have enjoyed good treatment for six decades.
All of the staff and Dr. McArdle are professional, friendly and informative.

Preventive
Report
We are committed to the overall well-being of each and every patient, starting with gentle, comprehensive preventive services as early as age three.
As a parent, you want to know your child's adult teeth will come in strong and healthy.
As an adult, a strong preventive plan will reduce or avoid altogether the harmful effects of cavities, gingivitis, enamel loss, and serious gum disease.
Maintaining the health of your teeth and gums doesn't just reduce the risk of costly invasive procedures, it directly benefits your overall health - diabetes, heart disease, and osteoporosis are just several serious conditions potentially linked to poor oral care.

Flouride
Report
Your teeth need fluoride.
A tooth's enamel layer is made up of minerals and is constantly in the process of losing and adding mineral material from its surface.
Mineral loss comes from the acids formed from plaque, bacteria and sugars; minerals are added through our food and water.
If more minerals are lost than added, tooth enamel doesn't have what it needs to repair itself, leading to tooth decay.
Enter fluoride, a mineral that occurs naturally in many foods and water.
It is a dental hero, building enamel, disrupting destructive acids, and reversing early decay.

Prophylaxis/Cleaning
Report
Our dedicated and caring team is committed to your comfort and long-term health.
We recommend visiting your hygienist at least every six months for professional cleaning of your teeth (prophylaxis).
Even though you may carefully brush and floss, plaque and tartar (what plaque becomes when it mineralizes) inevitably build up, leading to tooth decay and gum disease.
During your cleaning, your hygienist will use specialized instruments to gently remove tartar and calculus; she may also use an ultrasonic instrument (similar in sensation to an electric toothbrush) which uses vibration to knock larger pieces of tartar loose.
