Lisa is a native of Wenatchee, and loves that she gets to be hands-on with people about whom she cares.
She enjoys finding new ways to motivate and educate patients on an individual basis.
Her job is so much more than scraping tartar off teeth.
As a hygienist, she helps keep your whole mouth in a healthy state so you never have to lose one tooth because of a bacterial infection.
And infections in the mouth can lead to infections in other parts of the body.
Lisa recalled how during typical blood pressure monitoring, and in collaboration with the patient's primary care physician, she helped discover that the patient had a pre-existing heart condition that required immediate surgery.
