I was born in west Texas.
My early formative education was small town urban.
I started at the University of Texas and finished at the University of Washington where I earned a degree in dentistry.
I started my own family in the late sixties during my military time in the US Navy.
There I served both as an electronic tech and elevated to a Mustang career officer serving first in intelligence and ending in dental.
I have two talented children and 3 grandchildren.
I have passions for aircraft flying, boating, camping, chess, theater, reading, traveling and of course dentistry which offers me the opportunity to assist others in changing their lives in small and sometimes larger ways to make a positive difference.

The brand of the toothbrush is not as critical as the type of bristle and the size of the head.
A soft toothbrush with a small head is recommended because medium and hard brushes tend to cause irritation and contribute to recession of the gums, and a small head allows you to get around each tooth more completely and is less likely to injure your gums.
It's unnecessary to "scrub" the teeth as long as you are brushing at least twice a day and visiting your dentist at least twice a year for cleanings.
