He is a past board member of the Omaha District Dental Society and he currently serves as a delegate to the Nebraska Dental Association house.
Dr. Burchfiel was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas and moved to Omaha to attend Creighton.
He met his wife Jen in Omaha and was married in 2004.
Dr Burchfiel and Jen have two boys, Logan age 14 and Brody age 12.
