Dr. Casey
Dr. Casey is a General Dentist who takes pride in creating and maintaining healthy smiles. He grew up in the Inland Northwest and attended undergraduate school at Franciscan University in Ohio. He attended Dental School at Creighton University in Nebraska and is happy to be back in the Northwest practicing since 2001. Dr. Casey opened his practice in Liberty Lake in the Fall of 2002.
Dr. Casey has participated in FDA clinical research trials for the implant system called Trefoil All-On-3. Four of his patients successfully completed the trials, and Nobel Biocare launched the release in the Fall of 2017. Dr. Casey has also completed hundreds of hours of continuing education including advanced cosmetic, implant, Invisalign, and orthodontics.

Dr. Macall
Dr. Brian Macall was raised in San Jose, CA and introduced to dentistry at a young age by his grandfather and two uncles who were dentists. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2001 before earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2005. Upon dental school graduation, Dr. Macall moved to Liberty Lake, WA and started his dental career in private practice in Coeur d Alene, Idaho.
In 2006, he relocated to Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, a community health clinic in North Spokane. At this clinic, Dr. Macall treats many of the areas underserved residents and serves as Mentoring Dentist to dental students and dental school graduates. While at Yakima Valley Clinic, Dr. Macall was instrumental in establishing a successful one-year advanced education dental residency.

Just had my wisdom teeth out this morning. I was terrified since I hadn’t had an IV, sedation, nor any real mouth surgery before. Staff was sympathetic, and I went home within an hour of starting surgery. IV didn’t hurt, and while I don’t clearly remember everything, it just felt like time sped up a little. No real pain. Thanks doctor Fortner and the team!

I've been with Dr. Casey for many years and I have enjoyed every visit! From standard cleanings and exams, to fixing a broken tooth, every visit has been smooth and painless. The dentists at Smile Source are professional and friendly, but the real star of my visits is my hygienist, Anne, who on my first visit made some suggestions for improvement in my oral health. I followed the suggestions and have experienced noticeable improvement over the course of time. The office is bright, clean and welcoming. There is a TV above the chair playing fun animal videos to help distract if necessary - over the course of my visits I didn't see any clip more than once. I recommend Smile Source!

From the first questionnaire to my first appointment, I was blown away by this office! They'd already gotten my X-rays from my old dentist, and the whole vibe was so relaxing – who actually *likes* going to the dentist, right? Plus, they took their time explaining everything, and I never felt pressured into anything unnecessary. Seriously, amazing office, friendly staff – I'm telling everyone I know!

I recently had a dental crown done on one of my teeth. I hadn’t had one before so I didn’t know what expect. Savannah explained the details of every step of the procedure. The temp crown fit perfectly and two weeks later I was back getting the final crown, again it fit perfectly. When you are checking in for your appointment you are greeted promptly, the friendliness and efficiency starts there and it is carried over with your interaction with the billing department, doctors, hygienists and dental assistants. If you are looking for a fabulous dentist and team, Liberty Lake Smile Source is the place to go.

Five stars! I had my first visit with them this week and they were great. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I was greeted with a warm smile from Debbie at the front desk and my hygienist Adam was wonderful! He was very thorough and valued all my questions and answered them thoroughly. Excellent patient care! I would definitely recommend them!
