Dr. Lana Qaqish grew up in Richmond and graduated from Deep Run High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentists, and the Richmond Dental Society.
Before joining Glen Allen Dental Arts in Glen Allen, VA, Dr. Qaqish served patients in both Louisa County and the Chester area. She enjoys treating individuals of all ages and is fluent in English and Arabic. Had an amazing experience at Glen Allen Dental Arts! The receptionist was super welcoming, the hygienist was thorough, and Dr. Lana Qaqish made me feel completely at ease as a new patient. She explained everything clearly, walked me through the next steps, and outlined my treatment plan. If you’re looking for a great dentist in Short Pump, I highly recommend them!

I have to give Dr. Fortner and his staff 5 stars. They are awesome. This was my first visit to their office. They all made me feel welcome and that I was in good hands. They took the time to explain every procedure and made sure I understood and answered all of my questions and concerns. It was the best cleaning experience at a dentist office I’ve ever had. I will be telling my family and friends about them. Dr. Fortner’s staff thinks he’s the greatest boss. That says a lot. Thank you

OW! I broke my molar! Within a few hours of getting my call Dr. Fortner had me in the chair repairing my tooth and even promised to have the crown back in time for vacation. Dr. Fortner and his band of angels are the most gentle, caring people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I'd highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Fortner and his staff are great. I had severe tooth pain, and they got me in to see Dr. Fortner the same day that I called. They diagnosed the condition and referred me to an excellent Endodontist and got me an appointment for treatment with him the very next day. Dr. Fortner and his staff are very caring and prompt to take care of your needs.

I just moved to the Richmond area and found this dentist from my health insurance directory. This by far, has been the best experience I have ever had at a dentist.
First, the receptionists were very friendly and welcoming. Before I even got there for my appointment she walked me through, over the phone, how to fill out the first time patient forms online and submit to them, which was very easy. So when I arrived for my appointment they already had all of my health and insurance information.
The woman who cleaned my teeth was so nice as well. She was very personable and we talked like we were good friends. She also seemed to be very knowledgeable about dental health.
The dentist was very nice and professional. Answered any questions I had and made me feel confident about my cleaning and dental health.
This is an all around great office. Highly recommended
