Dr. Daniel McGovern
Daniel C. McGovern, DMD, MS, is a native of Albany, GA. He attended Georgia Southern University, where he obtained a bachelor of science in biology and a master of science in microbiology. After graduation, Dr. McGovern worked at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA, as a microbiologist conducting hepatitis research.
Dr. McGovern then obtained his doctorate of dental medicine from the Dental College of Georgia in 2018. Following graduation, he continued his dental education with a hospital-based General Practice Residency program at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta.

I absolutely love Chattanooga Dental Arts! Every staff member is kind and attentive from the minute you walk in to the time you leave. It's the most comfortable atmosphere I've ever been in at a provider's office. They take their time and explain everything they are doing or what needs to be done. Absolutely the best place for dental care!

I’ll start off by saying I have very high expectations of care providers and this whole team was totally above and beyond. Hands down the best dentist I have been to-not just in Chatt. I literally left the office more relaxed than I walked in. The staff is so kind, and truly take the time to explain everything they are doing and the results. Michelle and Stephanie were awesome. They provided headphones and calming video/audio through the procedure. I’ll actually look forward to the dentist now.

The staff communicate with kindness and facts. The facility is spotless and well laid out. The waiting area is large with 2 separate sections. 1 has a couch and relaxing tv, the other has news and refreshments that include water and coffee. The dental hygienists work rooms are spacious and equipped with a tv that they will put on right in your line of sight during your dental work. I got to eat my favorite YouTube channel “Broken Window Theory,” every time with cordless headphones. The dental hygienist staff remember you and make me feel like family every visit. The doctors have excellent communication with each other and double check everything while answering all questions, I ask a lot! Very thankful for this service provider.

I loved my experience at Chattanooga dental arts! I’m new to town and was referred here by a colleague, and as soon as I stepped into the office I felt at ease. Not only is the office beautiful and smells amazing, but the staff is extremely professional yet friendly. This is a husband and wife owned practice and you can feel the family dynamic throughout the team.

Great, great, great! Beautiful office, super friendly staff! I knew I was overdue to have a dentist visit and since I am relatively still new to East TN, I wasn't sure of where to go. Well, a friend gave me their info and a great recommendation. Keep in mind, I am NOT someone that likes to go to ANY dentists, but I will go when I have to, lol. Well, it's looking like I am going to owe my friend BIG TIME, because the service and experience I had today was second to none! The entire experience from beginning to was great! I can happily say, I found the dentist/office/staff that were meant for me. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to find a great dentist office!

The new office is very nice. They have a new entertainment option while you get your dental work done. I was able to sit back and watch the news right above me while I got my teeth cleaned… pretty darn cool. The lady who cleaned my teeth was very sweet and professional and did a great job. This place is a 10/10, would definitely recommend it.

I NEVER leave reviews, but I cannot praise this facility or recommend it enough. Sandra, Michele, Stephanie, and Dr.McGovern have been taking amazing care of me for years. They are all so talented and caring. Everyone I have sent here have all had incredible experiences, as well. I can promise there isn’t a better office around, and you won’t regret getting to know the wonderful staff’s personalities and letting them work their magic in your mouth! :)
