Dr. Neal Emad graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1983 and graduated with honors from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1987.
He continues his education yearly to remain current as a general practitioner, and he has achieved advanced certification in orthodontics by both the United States Dental Institute and the Mid-Atlantic Orthodontic Society.
He is certified in Invisalign and oral sedation, and he has received advanced training in implant dentistry.

I have a chipped front tooth that another dentist said would NOT be possible to fix after 2 attempts at putting on a crown, both of which fell out within 24-48 hours. However, Dr. Marcus was able to work his supeior dental knowledge added with his artistic skill to successfully put on a crown that has now lasted over one year and I honestly forget that I have a chipped tooth most of of the time. Long story short...I have found MY Dentist at Nova Dental Care. FYI Whitening service is worth it!

Who likes their dentist? I mean really? I do! I have been going to Dr. Emad for over a decade without fail, even when I moved across the country for a couple of years I kept coming back. His patient care is unparalleled, he remembers conversations we've had in the past and clearly cares about me as a person as well as a patient. He called me at home on a Saturday to check in on me after a procedure and answer any questions I may have. He is gentle both in his demeanor and treatment. Dr. Emad helped me with some preventative dental care and explained conditions that I've had my whole life but no other dentist has ever even mentioned. He always takes the time to make sure I understand my treatment options including cost options for treatments and what my dental insurance will cover. I have recommended him to countless colleagues and friends who are all happy for the referral. I cannot say enough positive about Dr. Neil Emad.
