Katie began her education attending Alfred State College and University at Buffalo studying general studies and computers.
Katie graduated from Erie County Community College School of Dental Hygiene in 2011 and joined the Smile Center family shortly after graduation.
Katie is CPR certified and also received her license in Local Infiltration and Laughing gas Administration.
Katie loves her work here at the Smile Center and strives at making each of our patients comfortable and happy.
In her spare time Katie enjoys spending time with her family and boyfriend, going on walks with her Chihuahua named Chanel and reading.

I went in with terrible tooth pain looking for any kind of relief. From the time I walked in the entire staff was amazing. Of particular note was Laura. She put me at ease and explained all my options. I have set up appointments for procedures and have never felt more comfortable at a dentist. This is extremely important as I have a huge phobia when it comes to dentists. Thank you to Laura and the entire staff at the Smile Center!

I was told by another dentist I needed a root canal about a year and a half ago, which I couldn’t afford. That dentist refused to extract it. I had an extraction by that dentist on another tooth that was almost unbearable, the worst pain of my life!
I came to Smile Center because the tooth that needed a root canal was starting to hurt a lot. Dr. Geise recommendation was a root canal, which I still can’t afford. They listened to me and we went ahead with the extraction. I was really nervous because of my previous experience, but it was the complete opposite. I had a very good experience this time, as good as can be with an extraction. I’d definitely recommend to anyone to Smile Center, especially those who have had bad experiences in the past with a dentist.
