Composite White Fillings
Report
Composite resin fillings were created as an alternative to metal dental fillings.
Dr. Beers has chosen to place this type of filling material exclusively.
Composite Resin fillings are strong, durable and are a very natural-looking restoration.
Although they are much more "technique sensitive" than a metal filling, the beauty and durability justify the added time and cost needed to place them.
The composite resin filling material bonds to the tooth structure to actually strengthen the tooth which helps prevent breakage and further damage.

Porcelain Bridges
Report
Dental bridges have been the way to replace missing teeth for several decades and while dental implants now offer a superior way to replace missing teeth there are still situations where a bridge is the only available option.
A dental bridge replaces a missing tooth or teeth.
After tooth removal it is important to fill the space so the rest of the teeth do not shift out of position.
A bridge can help prevent this from happening.
The two teeth on either side of the space (the abutment teeth) are prepared for crowns and joined together at the lab by a false tooth (the pontic) filling the space.
