He graduated valedictorian from Swan Valley High School in 1995.
He went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in chemistry from Michigan State University in 1999.
After graduating from MSU, he worked as an analytical chemist for 1 year at the Dow Chemical Company.
He then completed his dental training at the University of Michigan in 2004.

I found Dr. Hoppe when I was in high need of dental work and was in a lot of pain and he got me in the same day and took care of me and sent me to get me a root canal and then got me in to get a temporary crown and the staff was very helpful and polite. I cant thank them enough and Im happy that I made the decision to go to Dr. Hoppe. I think if youre looking for a dentist he is your best bet. Very knowledgeable about everything.

Dr. Hoppe and all the staff are amazing. They've taken such good care of me and my family both long-term and in an emergency. I could not ask for a better dentist!!
If your anxious about the dentist I've found that the tech that they use in this office helps with the anxiety and numbing/needles. My kids don't dread going so it's a major win!

The level of professionalism and lack of bedside manners were quite shocking as a new patient. Feeling uncomfortable with the way a doctor treats his assistant while youre in the chair was a huge red flag. I inquired about Invisalign and was told that my case was too severe for his level of experience (however I am glad there was honesty). The follow up referral took longer than expected to receive, especially with the lack of information I was given. I would not recommend seeking care for Invisalign here, unless certifications were gained and technology was upgraded.

Dr Hoppe and dental hygienist Sarah, as always, did a thorough checkup and cleaning, including discussion of my dental concerns and issues. Thank you to these two top notch professionals.
Due to my underbite Dr. Hoppe had to make repairs in several root areas. His knowledge and and skill gives me confidence that I am receiving excellent and appropriate hygienic care.

I just saw the dentist on Monday and I had a wonderful experience! I had two upper teeth filled and it went great! They used a new tool where I couldn't even feel the injection! It was awesome! People might say I'm biased because the dentist is my husband, let me tell you a little about him :)
We have been together since we were 16. He was valedictorian of our high school class and we both studied at Lyman Briggs at MSU. He went on to dental school and I became a teacher. He is the most hard working and honest person you could meet! He is meticulous in his work and strives for perfection. He is a very conservative dentist and will not recommend work unless it is needed. He is also very kind. I love drinking Coca Cola and I fail to floss on a daily basis but he doesn't preach to me about my bad habits.
He is a wonderful husband, father, and dentist! If you come to see him as your dentist I am confident you will have the same experience!
