Dental Emergencies
Report
If you have fractured a piece of tooth off, keep the section of the tooth if you can.
Sometimes it is possible to re-attach the fractured piece of tooth.
The tooth may be sensitive to cold, air, heat or sweets.
If the tooth was fractured from an accident of some sort it is not uncommon for the tooth to be slightly more mobile than normal.
This can be caused from a temporary loosening of the supporting tooth ligament, known as the periodontal ligament.
It is best to see a dentist, leave the tooth alone and resist from wiggling.
New Patients
Report
Your first visit to our office usually lasts about an hour and a half, but may take up to two hours depending on the condition of your oral health.
We can break up the first appointment into two visits to fit your schedule, in which case, the cleaning portion takes place during the second visit.
During your first visit, your hygienist will take any necessary x-rays and perform assessments to determine your oral health status.
Then the dentist, Dr. Skvorak or Dr. John, will perform a comprehensive exam and discuss any findings with you.

Our hygienists are educated and trained to help you maintain your oral health.
Your hygienist performs several assessments at every visit to evaluate your oral health and track any changes that have occurred.
